Day 2 SHANGHAI (Tue) 02 May (B/L/D)
Take part in a morning tour to visit the
landmark of Shanghai – The Oriental Pearl TV Tower where you can enjoy a
panoramic view of Shanghai city. Then, proceed to The Shanghai Museum on
the ground level to have an insight into Shanghai historical development.
Lunch will be served at “Green Wave
Gallery” restaurant where President Bill Clinton enjoyed his dinner
there. Continue sightseeing to visit the Yu Yuan Garden (Pleasure Garden), a
400-year old Chinese garden in the old town of Shanghai and the Chenghaung
Temple where restaurants for local authentic cuisine and gift shops are located.

enjoy dinner at the popular Lu Lu Restaurant for local cuisine and
followed by an amazing “Era” circus and acrobatic show in Shanghai

Day 6 YANGTZE RIVER (D1) (Sat) 06

River Cruise - Yichang
Early morning Tai Chi (Shadow Boxing) exercise, after breakfast. The
Cruise Director will conduct a briefing to all passengers of the ship’s
facilities and sailing itinerary followed by an introduction of the gorges.
After lunch, a shore excursion to the White
Emperor City located at the entrance of the Qutang Gorge on the north
bank of the river, 8 kilometres (5 miles) from Fengjie county. The city clings
to grandeur hills and cliffs, It is actually a mini city scattered with temples
and gates on top of Baidi Hill. Return to ship, then you will pass through the
first gorge – Qutang
Gorge, the shortest but by far the most dramatic of the Yangtze’s Three
Gorges with steep cliffs and fascinating oddities surrounding you. Tonight,
enjoy Captain’s Welcome Dinner followed by an evening entertainment
performed by the cruise director and river guides with singing and dancing.
Day 7 YANGTZE
RIVER (D2) (Sun) 07

Early morning Tai Chi (Shadow Boxing) exercise. After breakfast, a
shore excursion to the Lesser Three Gorges, you will
be transferred to a smaller boat (usually holds 30 people), enjoy the wonderful
scene of deep and quiet gorges, the magnificent peaks as if they are cut by
axes and knives. Back to ship, you will then enter into the second gorge - Wu Gorge, known for its odd
misty rock formations and soaring mountain backdrop. After lunch, you will pass
third gorge – Xiling Gorge, the longest and
previously the most hazardous, along the magnificent gorges. At around 4pm,
take a shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam, the world’s
largest and most powerful hydroelectric dam. Towering 610 feet high and
stretching 1.3 miles, the dam will create a reservoir that extends nearly 400
miles upstream. With swells of national pride, some Chinese call this dam the
modern Great Wall. Back to ship, you will pass through a 5-step ship locks that
takes approx. 3 hours. Tonight, enjoy a farewell party followed by another
Chinese Evening performance.

part in a morning tour of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, the largest
existing ancient architectural structure in China today.
Enjoy a traditional lunch followed by a tour of the Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of
15th Century architecture.
18:00 In
the evening, enjoy the famous Peking Duck dinner at one of Beijing’s most
well-known speciality restaurant and followed by the Western Australian
Symphony Orchestra Concert in Beijing performance.
Day 11 BEIJING (Thu) 11

Today you will visit one of the great
Wonders of the World. - The Great Wall and Ming Tombs tour

will visit one of the Ming Tombs –Ding Ling, the tomb of the 13th
Emperor Zhu Yijun. It is the only Ming tomb to have been excavated. Take the
stair-case down to the underground palace, located 100 feet below, where the
emperor’s primary wife and one concubine were buried with him, you can see some
decorative chests and two stone thrones nowadays. Next, drive to the Great Wall
at Bataling, the world’s greatest man-made structure winding dragon-like across
Northern China. This is the only earthly evidence of man visible from the moon.
It becomes an emblem of Chinese civilization. On the way back to the city, you
will stop by a cloisonné factory.
